After losing her home, job, health, and sense of direction, Kadijah’s journey led her to nonprofit work in rural Africa — where she witnessed both hardship and extraordinary resilience. There, she realized that while material things can be taken, our words, wisdom, and voice cannot.

Meet Me in San Miguel — Writers’ Conference Meetup 2026
This group experience is for both readers and writers — a space to connect, create, and be inspired together. It’s a (7) seven-day, (6) six-night literary immersion hosted at CasaELM, a Black- and Woman-owned luxury boutique guest house in the heart of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

The gathering includes a welcome and closing dinner, daily transportation to and from the conference, daily Writers’ Table meetups, and a 10% discount on your Writers’ Conference registration (package must be booked first to receive the discount code).
